Dumpster diving addict and compost lover.

Anne-Lise has worked in New York, San Francisco and around the world as a sailor, filmmaker  and educator. Born and raised in an adobe passive solar house in New Mexico, sustainability is baked into her world view. Her work has also included social justice for San Francisco's homeless women, greening public school yards and green renovation. She received a BA in Film and American Studies from Hampshire College.  Her own films have shown at Taos Talking Film Festival, Anthology Film Archives, Women in the Directors Chair, Brooklyn Film Festival and the Dallas Video Festival. She also worked as deckhand and blogger on a nautical expedition across the South Pacific examining the state of the oceans at the turn of the millennium.

Currently, she is enrolled in the Advanced Program in Sustainable Management at Berkeley Extension and the Certified Green Building Professional Training with Built it Green.  She is a Certified Lead Sampling Technician and an EPA certified Asbestos Building Inspector. You can find her romping around the Copenhagen with her two feral kids and domesticated husband.
